Antipasti - shrimp sautéed with fresh porcini mushrooms, garlic, in a white wine and herb sauce. $13

Pasta - fresh tagliarini sautéed with smoked salmon, zucchini, in a brandy cream sauce. $25

Pesce - Tuna steak breaded and topped with arugula and radicchio, lemon, extra virgin olive oil. $25

Carne - pork chop pan roasted with Portobello hot cherry peppers and Porto wine sauce. $29

The family

A photograph of our family.

My own opinion, might be bias.

I might be bias since it is my parents restaurants and that I work there but I've had the previlege to dine in many restaurants throughout our state of CT and NY and I guess theres no place like home. To me rustico trattoria is like my second kitchen ( lucky me) and my father Miguel who is also the chef has worked really hard to perfect every dish on the menu, and I can think of another restaurant that I've been before that has the warmth that rustico trattoria has.

My favorite pasta Orecchiette Toscano

Orecchiette Toscano is my favorite pasta at rustico trattoria, every-time someone orders it the smell of truffle paste/ oil is just the most wonderful thing in the world, at least for me.

Orecchiette Toscano: fresh orecchiette sautéed with fresh porcini, speck, dry figs, artichokes, black truffle paste, extra Virgin oil, and garlic shaved Parmigiano. $24
